Birgir Jón Birgisson – engineer

Birgir Jón Birgisson, or Biggi, is a freelance sound engineer/producer based in Reykjavík, Iceland. He has over 20 years experience in sound engineering, starting out at the Icelandic National Radio (RÚV) before moving to London, England, to study Recording Arts at SAE. After his BA degree, he moved back to Iceland to manage and engineer at what became Sundlaugin studio in 2003. He currently runs his own mixing facilities, Grenið, as well as doing freelance work for various projects.
